ABOUT
Studio Spatial is an independent design practice founded and led by Christoph Büllen, a Berlin-based Creative Director and Spatial Designer with more than fifteen years of international experience in retail, interior and brand experience design.
The studio develops spatial concepts, retail environments and installations, with a multidisciplinary background spanning from visual merchandising and scenography to spatial storytelling and brand design, Studio Spatial approaches each project as a dialogue between space, brand and human experience.
Before establishing Studio Spatial, Christoph Büllen held leading creative roles within globally renowned retail groups such as the Galeries Lafayette Group and the Siam Piwat Group, directing large-scale retail, visual merchandising, and spatial experience projects across Europe and Asia. Following these international years, he continued his career in Berlin as a Senior Creative Director in leading agencies, further refining his approach to spatial branding and design strategy. These experiences have profoundly shaped his creative philosophy, fostering a global perspective that unites strategic thinking, storytelling, and aesthetic clarity.
His work has contributed to projects recognized with distinctions such as the German Design Award 2025 and a nomination for the Frame Award 2023
